Location & Time
We are located at 3198 East Georgia Street, in East Vancouver, British Columbia, just a few blocks south of the entrance to Playland. Our Sunday morning worship gatherings start at 10 am and usually finish by 12 pm or by 11:30 am during the summer holidays.
If you'd also like to join us for pre-service prayer, it starts at 9:30 am in the office building next door.
What to Expect
A small congregation of approximately 200 people of all ages and from diverse nations meets on Sunday mornings in a friendly atmosphere to worship God and to learn from Him. Families with children are very welcome. Come as you are; no need for formal attire.
During our worship time, a team of musicians leads us to praise and worship God and listen to Him. In addition to singing, members of the church are encouraged to participate through spontaneous prayers or scripture readings.
Our worship team is usually led by either a keyboardist or acoustic guitar player, who is accompanied by a few other singers and instruments, including drums.
Our sermons are designed to better understand the Word of God and to apply it to our personal lives. Most of the preaching is provided by our pastors. Occasionally members of our church or ministry leaders from other Christian communities preach or share their personal adventures with God.
After the Service
Join us for coffee, tea and refreshments in the hall downstairs.
For babies and their nursing moms a nursery service is provided. Qualified volunteers supervise the babies and contact their parents if help is needed.
This is the place where toddlers can stay and play during the service, starting at 10:30 am. Engaging activities, such as storytelling and colouring, along with great helpers keep the tots happy. A small snack is provided.
Kids from age three to grade five have the opportunity to worship God in their own ways and to learn about the Good News in age-specific small groups. The children are dismissed from our regular Sunday morning meetings before the sermon to attend their Sunday school program.
Parking is available at the south and at the east side of the church building and at Windermere Street. We ask you not to park in the fire lane directly in front of the building, nor in front of our neighbours' houses on Georgia Street.
A ramp on the west side of the church building provides wheel chair access, and can also be used for strollers. The basement of the church is accessible by wheel chair through the ground level door at the south side of the building. This entrance also provides access to a washroom and is only three stairs away from the church basement where you can mingle after the service.
